obscure little places

The Obscure Little Places project aims to celebrate the beauty of abandoned and overlooked locations around Doha that are not usually advertised but are just as beautiful and rich in history as tourist attractions. To bring awareness to the importance of taking a moment to appreciate the beauty of our surroundings, like these places, the methods used to create these photographs are also considered abandoned / overlooked as they are a collection of film photos, polaroid transfers, Gum Arabic prints and other alternative photo processes, ones that required and encouraged me to slow down and appreciate the process, just as the photos themselves remind us that there is an enduring beauty that can be discovered if we choose to see it.
